British Airways Visa® Signature Card

British Airways is one of the world's largest airlines and together with their partners they fly to over 600 destinations worldwide.

The British Airways Executive Club frequent flyer program allows you to save miles to fly free to any of these destinations. You can now earn miles even more quickly with the British Airways Visa® Signature Card from Chase.

How to Earn Miles

As a great starting bonus, you can earn a bonus 15,000 miles the first time you se your card. This can give your frequent flyer account a big boost and put you well on the way towards a free flight.

You will then receive 1 point for every $1 you spend on your card. You can earn double miles when you use your card for British Airways purchases.

Miles required for free flights will vary by destination and by the class of service that you are looking to fly.

Other Benefits of the British Airways Visa® Signature Card

This card also offers some other competitive features. When you use the card to purchase a full fare first, business (Club World) or premium economy (World Traveller Plus) class ticket, you will receive a complimentary companion ticket. This can be a big saving if you commonly travel as a couple.

You can also save $250 on advance purchases on business class tickets to London, as well as $20 on British Airways tickets purchased online with your card.

Credit Masters Review

The British Airways credit card could be a good choice if you are looking for an airline miles card, especially if you already have some miles saved with their Executive Club frequent flyer program. Their partnerships with other airlines, including American Airlines, means that there is a huge choice of destinations available to redeem your miles.

The rewards are similar to other airline miles cards at 1 mile per $1 spent, but this card does offer some extra money saving features.

Whilst this card doesn't offer a 0% introductory APR, its generally high interest rate and annual fee means that it probably won't appeal to those of us that are expecting to carry a balance on the card anyway.
