Chase Amazon.com Platinum Visa® Card

Shopping online is becoming more and more popular and one of the largest online stores is, of course, Amazon.com.

This card allows you to earn reward points for shopping, not only at Amazon, but anywhere you use your card.

Reward Points

This credit card makes it easy to quickly build up your reward points balance. Firstly, you can earn a bonus 1,500 the first time you use your card. This equates to a $15 Amazon gift card.

You can then continue to earn 1 point for every dollar you spend on your card and earn triple points whenever you use the card for purchases at Amazon. This means that if you regularly shop at Amazon your points can mount up fairly quickly.

Reward points can be redeemed for Amazon reward certificates - you will receive a $25 certificate for each 2,500 points. The wide selection of products available at Amazon means that this can be one of the most flexible rewards cards you have.

Other Features of the Amazon Visa Card

The Amazon card is currently offering an introductory interest rate for the first 6 months of card membership. The rate is currently 0% APR on both purchases and balance transfers.

After the first 6 months your interest rate will revert to the standard rate at the time, which is currently 17.24% APR variable.

There is no annual fee for this card and it is accepted anywhere Visa is accepted, not just at Amazon.

Credit Masters Review

This can be a great credit card, especially for those that frequently shop at Amazon. The triple points that you earn when shopping at Amazon means that the reward points build up quickly. You also know that you will be getting rewards for a store that you frequently shop at.

The introductory APR on balance transfers and purchases can also be useful if you are looking to save money on interest on current balances or new purchases.

The interest rate is slightly higher than on some cards but it is fairly comparable to other rewards cards.
